@ the Law & Water Gala

Washington, D.C. – At the Potomac Riverkeeper Network’s 4th annual Law & Water Gala, which celebrates the work that PRKN does all year round to enforce clean water laws in the Potomac Watershed, WeeGreen was there to help spread the word.   We were honored to have one of our team members, Tim Hill, VP Operations at WeeGreen receive special recognition.

PRKN featured WeeGreen in its Law & Water program showcasing our joint effort to run campaigns to help to protect the public’s right to clean water in rivers and streams. Together we are striving to stop pollution and promote safe drinking water, protect healthy river habitats, and enhance public use and enjoyment. https://takeactionprkn.wee.green

The PRKN is utilizing the WeeGreen platform to encourage all of PRKN’s members and friends to quickly and easily advance the goals and mission of the Potomac Riverkeeper Network by taking concrete sustainability actions right where they live, work, and play.

The Law & Water Gala brought together more than 250 supporters for a night in honor of those who protect and defend our Nation’s most treasured natural resource. WeeGreen was proud to share our platform with everyone in attendance and have them participate in PRKN’s current campaign and visit our Marketplace.   Many prominent figures were also in attendance including Bobby Kennedy Jr, the founder of WaterKeepers Alliance who is in the photo above with Tim Hill of WeeGreen.

Among a growing number of organizations, companies and communities that are utilizing the WeeGreen platform, the Potomac Riverkeepers Network has shown how easy it is to be green.  If you are interested in starting a similar campaign in your local town, church, school or organization sign up at www.wee.green
