Tim “TJ” Hill Named WeeGreen’s Vice President of Operations

Entrepreneur, Technology Expert, Environmentalist Joins Cutting Edge, Clean-Tech Start-Up

Washington, DC: WeeGreen, the free digital platform that helps people, communities and organizations achieve their sustainability goals more quickly and easily, today announced the hiring of Tim “TJ” Hill as Vice President of Operations.

“We are excited to have TJ join our WeeGreen leadership team,” said Brian F. Keane, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of WeeGreen. “I have no doubt that TJ’s background and experience, combined with his passion and boundless energy will help us take WeeGreen to the next level. With TJ on the team the pump is now primed – and WeeGreen is poised for great things!”

A graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in AgriBusiness and with continued education in Full Stack Web Development from The George Washington University, TJ brings a wealth of experience in web applications, coding, business knowledge, and management acumen. As a former National Account Manager of BroadPoint, Inc., a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and the largest Mid-Atlantic Microsoft reseller that specializes in ERP and CRM solutions, he worked with many well-known non-profits, NGO’s and corporations assisting them with their growth strategies. TJ understands the demands upon the tech industry and what’s required to grow and expand a start-up business.

A dedicated water rights advocate, TJ serves as Millennial representative on the WaterKeeper Alliance Board of Directors and also works closely with both the Potomac and Anacostia RiverKeeper organizations. The WaterKeeper Alliance is the voice for clean water and healthy communities across the world.

“WeeGreen presents the perfect opportunity for me personally and professionally.” said TJ Hill. “Rarely have I seen a company that has all the ingredients and all the expertise in place and ready to grow. We’re going to do amazing things for our nation and our planet here at WeeGreen. I can’t wait to get started!”

TJ joins the WeeGreen team on the eve of his departure to Iceland for the exclusive 2018 Cradle to Cradle and Circular Economy Conference + Summit, an event comprised of leading international corporate leaders, global thinkers, scientists, and philanthropists from around the world known for their renowned sustainability work and initiatives. These individuals are invited to come together to explore important global business, environmental and social challenges and, importantly, their potential solutions.

WeeGreen is specifically designed for peer-to-peer driven grassroots outreach that accelerates the adoption of green products and services via an integrated on-line marketplace. The way “Turbo-Tax” helps do your taxes, WeeGreen helps communities, companies and organizations achieve their sustainability goals by offering an online, step-by-step “Green Campaign” template.

Already multiple organizations are using the WeeGreen “green campaign template” to run their own grassroots “green campaigns” in targeted communities. “Solarize Jamestown” and “Solarize Narragansett” in Rhode Island are but two solar-focused campaigns that are demonstrating the success of the WeeGreen platform.

WeeGreen’s marketplace now boasts products ranging from the Nest thermostat to the solar powered cooler and freezer – and everything in between.

“If your company, community or organization is striving to reach your sustainability goals, there’s now no better time to launch a WeeGreen campaign,” said Antonia “Toni” Bouchard, WeeGreen’s President. “Our very mission is to create the most complete and easy to use digital green campaign template and marketplace so people, communities and organizations can more quickly and easily achieve their sustainability goals and make a long-term impact. And now with TJ joining our team as VP of Operations, we’re ready to scale and grow WeeGreen for the long term.”
